Following a successful career as a pediatrician, I decided to pursue the aesthetic side of medicine, becoming skilled and proficient in lasers and then Coolsculpting. I joined my husband, Dr. Gregory Dick, 8 years ago, as a logical complement to his very busy Plastic Surgery practice. We consult together regularly on our patients, bringing the best solutions for both of our worlds to provide state of the art solutions customized for each and every patient. All procedures are performed by Dr. Olsen and Dr. Dick in a spa-like, relaxed atmosphere with soft music and lighting.
Over the past 10 years, there has been a major shift of patients away from invasive surgical procedures to non-invasive, nonsurgical procedures including Lasers, Fillers, Botox, and Coolsculpting. This has resulted in less downtime, less time off of work, a quicker recovery, and earlier resumption of social activities, travel, and sports.
As you read about each procedure, you will find that each procedure can be refined to meet your individual desires and goals. For example the effect of fillers is immediate. With your input, more can be given or removed. As another example, I asses the effect of every laser pulse to your skin and adjust your energy settings immediately.
We attend many medical meetings that enable us to advise you on what will and won’t work for your particular problem or desire, and help you to choose the best solutions for your budget and timeline. For instance, have you given yourself enough time to heal from surgery, or will you instead benefit from a non-invasive “quick fix” with no downtime?
Above all, our priorities are to provide safe solutions with minimal risk, and in the case of fillers, the ability to remove excess filler if desired. We have all seen too many celebrity “misadventures”. Too many over-filled, too many over-tightened. We pride ourselves on always maintaining your natural appearance, and we look forward to hearing about the many compliments you will receive.
This life of ours is not a dress rehearsal. So let's keep it fun! Be bold, and try something new that you have been reading about. And should you get “carded” at the next restaurant you visit, or should you revisit the “skinny side of your closet”, we would love to hear from you.
